Paradise is the best word we can use to describe Bali.

Not only in its physical appearance, as Bali is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world, but in its spiritual nature and laid-back feel as well.

Bali is a province of Indonesia and the westernmost of the Lesser Sunda Islands. Located east of Java and west of Lombok. The island is home to an ancient culture that's known for its warm hospitality. Exotic temples and palaces set against stunning natural backdrops are some of the top attractions.

Finding paradise wherever we go, and we have outdone ourselves this time! Our first retreat in Bali is at the luxurious Mandala House near Canggu, home to our first Helios Retreats in tropical Bali.

Architecturally and interior designed space with cutting edge design, world-class art and one of the best service standards in Bali villas found anywhere. The villa is multi award winning and only recently has been available to rent to the public. Nestled in Berawa, Bali's most happening district famous for its incredible surf, cafe culture and stunning Padi fields.

Close to the surf breaks of Canggu, The Mandala House is a one-of-a-kind new villa conceptualised around clean, flowing lines, openairy spaces, blending raw, industrial elements with warm, elegant andluxurious finishes. Designed by one of Bali’s leading architects, the villa’s unique features include a glass-bottomed pool, a swim-up copper bar, home cinema, gym and infinity swimming pool that overlooks the adjoining padi fields.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

After check in, we’ll begin our retreat with an easy sunset, relaxing evening of yoga and dinner cooked by our private chef. The intention of the first day is to drop in and ease ourselves into the retreat experience.

DAY 2

Time to detox our minds with yoga and meditation and break a sweat at a morning HIIT class. We’ll follow our sweat sessions with nourishing meals and leave some free time to relax explore the surroundings before an evening of yoga and dinner. 

DAY 3 

The key to this retreat is rejuvenation, so we’ll begin today with a trip to Uluwatu, you can learn how to surf or if you’re a pro, get ready for those perfect tubes. An option to explore the temples and visit Bali’s most stunning beach coast and dazzling landscapes before we set out for lunch and back to the villa for more HIIT workouts by the pool and daily yoga practices.

DAY 4

After a morning yoga session, take your pick between relaxing at the pool or hiking to the Pontoon. Further adventure seekers may rent a scooter and explore this Indonesian paradise, a cheeky visit to the Monkey Temple in Ubud is a must. Our evening back in the villa focus on nourishing the mind with some yoga and a Indonesian feast for dinner.

DAY 5

The transformation continues as we shed the layers of our stressful lives and step in the strongest versions of ourselves with yoga and HIIT. In between meal times, we’ll offer free time to relax by the pool and explore Canggu.

DAY 6

After morning yoga and an energising breakfast, we’ll set out for a day in the sun. A heart-thumping HIIT class will prime us to surrender into a restorative sunset yoga flow. We’ll close our last evening together with a deliciously nourishing meal out to celebrate our week long retreat in paradise.

DAY 7

We’ll send you off with a detoxifying workout followed by an enlivening yoga or stretch class. Tie the experience together with a final brunch before checking out. We promise you’ll leave feeling rejuvenated and whole so you can return home with a nourished mind, body and spirit.

Ideal for adventurous solo travellers. Share a room with a friend or another retreat guest to enjoy a week in the French Alps with the Helios family without splashing all your cash. The Double rooms are guaranteed to be very spacious and comfortable, besides, who comes to our retreats to stay in the room anyway?!

single OCCUPANCY

Fancy having the whole room to yourself? Go high end with the entire wardrobe all yours and all the mess you want to make in your own space! Single occupancy rooms are usually the best rooms in the retreats, just saying. This option offers a private bedroom to be enjoyed alone for a more relaxing and private retreat experience.

  PAYMENT INFORMATION

We offer two payment options based when you sign up! We encourage the full price option to sign up early and with a deposit and two further instalments. We strive to maintain a balance between offering our programs to the widest range of participants and running a sustainable and thriving company so that we can continue to create and share our experiences with you. Please inquire about payment plans. We can split up your payments however final payments are due at least 45 days prior to the start date of your retreat. By reserving your space through placing your deposit with us, you are agreeing to the stated policies in our T&C. Please note:
If cancellation takes place more than 60 days prior to your departure date any payments made will be refunded minus £500 deposit. If cancellation takes place less than 60 days prior to your departure date, 100% of the trip price will be forfeited.

HELIOS RETREATS reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary by our team, trip leaders, teachers or partners. In the rare case of a cancellation on the part of RETREATS (due to political unrest, dangerous weather, or low sign-ups) we will offer a transfer to another trip or a full refund of your funds. We require all participants to purchase travel insurance and highly encourage them to purchase “cancel for any reason” to protect them against the rare chance of cancellation. All prices are per/person.

FAQ'S


+ Start & Finish

As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our staff, and the opportunity to rest and recoup after your travel or dive into the pool and start your retreat relaxing in the wonderful spa facilities. An easy evening of yoga followed by wholesome dinner of healthy Indonesian cuisine will prepare you. Enjoy a relaxing night with your new friends.

Our final day begins with yoga and meditation and flows into a HIIT workout before fuelling up with a post workout drink and, of course, a satisfying brunch. You will then make your way back to real life at sea level feeling restored and ready.

+ When should I book?

We offer discounts for signing up before certain dates, so the earlier you sign up the better your price may be. Don't forget to sign up to our newsletter and be the first to know about our release dates and exclusive offers to our memebers. Check the specific trip you are interested in to make sure you sign up before the next deadline!

+ Do I need to book my own flight?

You are responsible for booking your own flight. Each trip will have suggested arrival and departure details based on when we know you need to be in the airport and you can always send us the itinerary before booking if you want to double check it’s correct!

+ Where do I fly into and when?

Fly into Denpasar International Airport for Bali. Geneva Airport in Switzerland for Chamonix, Mykonos International If we are in Greece, Marrackech International Airport if we are in Morocco. Governors Harbour for Bahamas. We also set up 1 scheduled transfer to from the villa FREE OF CHARGE!

+ Do I have to book my own transfer?

No. We always cover one scheduled transfer on check in - usually at 2pm and one schedulled transfer on check out - around 11am to all guests in the retreat. This is included in our package. The retreat management can happily organise a cab or van for trips to and from the airport outside these our free shuttles at an extra cost.

+ Can I arrive early and stay late?

You will need to purchase your flights in order to arrive/depart by given dates and time ranges for your specific trip. If you choose to arrive earlier or later than given day/time you will be responsible for the cost of transportation needed to join up with the group. We always encourage you to to explore the area, if that option is available to you.

+ What is the level of Yoga?

We welcome yogis of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced practitioners. Yoga retreats are not just for the yogi who practices every day and can touch the floor with their elbows. Our retreats offer opportunities for growth and new experience, no matter how much time you have spent on your mat. Regardless, we suggest keeping an open mind and trying out practices that might be new to you.

+ How many classes will there be?

1-2 Yoga Classes Daily + Other workshops. 1-2 Fitness classes a day.
